Hotel Pick-up You will be picked up from your hotel (usually around 1:00 AM, depending on location) to begin the drive to Cairo with your English-speaking representative.
Arrival in Cairo The estimated arrival time in Cairo is 8:30 AM. Upon arrival, you will be met by your certified English-speaking guide at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) to officially begin your tour.
Souvenir Shopping At the end of the day, you will have approximately 1 hour to shop for authentic Egyptian souvenirs and antiques. (If you prefer not to shop, you are welcome to wait in the air-conditioned bus.)
Hotel Check-in You will then be transferred to a comfortable 3-4 star hotel where you will spend the night.

A: Yes, you absolutely need the Full Egypt Visa (the $25 sticker), not just the "Sinai Only" stamp. If you already have the sticker: You are good to go! If you only have the "Sinai Only" stamp: You must buy the visa at Sharm Airport before the trip. Please let us know when booking so we can advise you on the current process or if we can assist you.
Yes. You must bring your original passport (not a copy). There are several police checkpoints on the road to Cairo, and they require the original document for identification.
The drive from Sharm el Sheikh to Cairo typically takes 6 to 7 hours, depending on traffic and convoys. We usually pick you up from your hotel around midnight (12:00 AM – 1:00 AM) to ensure we arrive in Cairo early to maximize your sightseeing time.
We use modern, air-conditioned Tourist Class coaches with reclining seats. While it is a long journey, many guests bring a travel pillow and a light jacket (the A/C can be cool) to sleep during the night drive. There is usually a toilet on board, and we make a rest stop halfway for snacks and restrooms.
Yes. The road between Sharm and Cairo is a major tourist highway secured by the Egyptian police and military. It is common to pass through security checkpoints
Yes, but it is optional. The ticket to go inside the burial chamber of the Great Pyramid is not included in the tour price. If you wish to do this, please tell your guide immediately upon arrival so they can secure a ticket for you, as numbers are limited
