8:00Embark on a full-day adventure to Ras Mohamed, Egypt's first and most famous National Park, located just 25km from Sharm El Sheikh. Traveling by bus provides the unique opportunity to explore both the stunning desert landscape and the world-renowned marine protected area, offering a truly diverse and memorable experience.
Your day begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel (approximately 8:00 AM). You will travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle toward the entrance of the National Park.
We begin our journey into the protected area, stopping at several key landmarks:
Gate of Allah (Bawabet Allah): Our first stop is at the massive, iconic concrete entrance gate, a historically significant structure and a fantastic spot for group photos.
The Earthquake Fissure: Witness the raw power of nature at this massive crack in the earth, a geological scar left by ancient seismic activity. Look down into the deep crevice to see the clear, natural water pooling at the bottom.
Mangrove Channel: Explore one of the world's northernmost Mangrove forests. See these unique trees that thrive in saltwater, and observe the fascinating process by which they excrete salt through their leaves.
The Magic Lake (Salt Water Lagoon): Visit this calm, large lagoon famous for its mesmerizing, changing colors. Take a dip in the legendary waters—local Bedouin tradition suggests that if you make a wish and jump in, your desire will be granted!
We then shift focus to the aquatic treasures of Ras Mohamed with two dedicated swimming stops:
Morning Snorkeling Stop (Approx. 1.5 - 2 Hours): We will drive to one of the park’s pristine beaches. Here, you will have ample time to relax, swim, and snorkel directly from the shore. The reefs are incredibly rich, teeming with colorful fish and accessible coral formations.
Beachside Lunch: After working up an appetite, enjoy a delicious and satisfying lunch served right at our beach camp, complete with stunning views of the protected Red Sea waters.
Afternoon Snorkeling at Marsa Breaka: After lunch, we move to Marsa Breaka, a beautiful, sheltered bay known for its calm waters and sandy entrance, making it ideal for a relaxing afternoon swim and further exploration of the abundant shallow-water marine life.
After a full day of natural discovery and sun, your representative will escort you back to your hotel, concluding your comprehensive Ras Mohamed adventure.
