Excursion Itinerary
- Hotel Pick-up: You will be picked up from your hotel (typically between 22:00 - 23:00) and transferred directly to the Taba Border Crossing.
- Border Crossing: Cross the Taba/Eilat Border on foot. After crossing, meet your guide on the Israeli side and begin the scenic drive through the Arava Valley. (Please note: Border procedures can be lengthy; patience is required.)
- The Dead Sea Experience: Arrive at the lowest point on Earth! Enjoy approximately one hour to relax, cover yourself in the therapeutic mineral mud, and float effortlessly in the highly saline water.
- Arrival in Jerusalem- Mount of Olives: Your first stop provides an iconic, stunning panoramic view, offering a perfect introduction and orientation to the Old City.
- The Old City of Jerusalem: Walk through the heart of history: Visit the Western Wall (Kotel), walk the sacred Via Dolorosa, and enter the majestic Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We will navigate the historic Arab Market (Suq) quarter.
- Local Lunch: Enjoy a well-deserved lunch break at a local restaurant within the area.
- Bethlehem Pilgrimage: Travel to the city of Bethlehem (located in the Palestinian Territories) to visit the profound Church of the Nativity, the traditional birthplace of Jesus Christ.
- Shopping & Transfer: A brief stop for souvenir and religious artifact shopping in the Bethlehem area before beginning the long transfer back towards Eilat.
- Return to Sharm El Sheikh: Cross the border on foot, meet our representative, and be transferred directly back to your hotel.

Questions & Answers:
It is a very long 24-hour trip. Pick-up is usually around 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM from your hotel, and you won’t return until 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM the following night. You will spend a significant portion of this time on the bus and at border control.
This is the most critical question. Scenario A (Sinai Only): If you are staying only in Sharm/Dahab/Taba, you can get the free "Sinai Only" stamp upon re-entering Egypt. This allows you to stay in the Sinai Peninsula for up to 14 days. Scenario B (Going to Cairo/Luxor later): If you plan to travel to mainland Egypt (Cairo, Luxor) after your Jerusalem trip, you must buy a new full Egypt Tourist Visa ($35 USD) at the Taba border upon return. Your original single-entry visa is voided once you leave Egypt to enter Israel.
Israel no longer stamps passports at land borders; they give you a loose paper slip (Entry Gate Pass). However, Egyptian border officials will stamp your passport showing you exited/entered at Taba. This Egyptian "Taba" stamp is proof you visited Israel, which may ban you from entering countries like Lebanon, Syria, Iran, or Kuwait in the future.
Bring a mix of USD and Shekels (NIS) if possible. USD: Accepted by most souvenir shops in Jerusalem. Shekels: Best for small snacks and the border tax (if not included). Credit Cards: Accepted in larger shops, but cash is safer for small purchases and tips.
