Excursion Itinerary
- Hotel Pick-up: Early Morning You will be picked up from your Sharm El Sheikh hotel (around 6:30 AM, depending on location) for the transfer to Dahab City (approx. 100 KM).
- Dahab City: StopA brief 10-minute stop for a comfort break (toilet, optional tea/coffee). We then continue the scenic 70 KM drive to Nuweiba.
- Nuweiba City: PanoramaA 10-minute stop to capture beautiful panoramic photos of the city and its lagoon.
- Adventure Begins Wishwashy Grand Canyon: Transfer by 4x4 Jeep through the desert terrain. This is where the high-energy activity begins!
- Canyon ChallengeHike & Swim at "The Lost Lake": Cross the stunning canyon, climbing over rocks and navigating narrow passes. Reach the deep freshwater pool (El Wish-wash). Swimming and optional cliff jumping from a safe height are available! (Approx. 30 minutes for activity).
- Ras Shitan Arrival: Journey to the stunning coastal oasis, known as Ras Shitan (The Devil’s Head).
- Lunch & RelaxationBeach Lunch & Snorkeling: Enjoy a delicious Bedouin-style lunch served in a traditional tent right on the beachfront (drinks are extra). Afterwards, use your time for snorkeling to discover the rich underwater marine life, or simply relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
- Return Journey: Transfer back to Sharm El Sheikh. The drive offers a closer, intimate perspective of the vast Sinai desert landscape.
- Hotel Drop-off: Arrive back at your hotel.

The "Lost Lake" (Wishwashi Lake) is a natural freshwater pool hidden between the mountains. Access might involve some light climbing or scrambling over rocks. The overall activity is considered an adventure/active tour.
The lake is a seasonal freshwater pool. While it is often accessible, the water level can vary depending on recent rainfall. It is generally an optional activity. The water is often cooler than the Red Sea, and some minor scrambling/climbing is usually required to reach it.
Not Recommended for: Travelers with severe back problems, serious mobility issues, or pregnant women, due to the bumpy Jeep ride and the uneven terrain/scrambling in the canyon. Children: Infants and very young children are often discouraged due to the long day and the nature of the canyon hike. Check with the specific tour operator for their age limit policy.
