Excursion Itinerary
- Hotel Pick-up & Transfer We will collect you from your hotel around 1:00 AM (exact time depends on hotel location) for the approximately 6-hour drive to Cairo. An English-speaking representative will accompany you on the journey.
- Arrival & The Egyptian Museum Upon arrival in Cairo (approx. 8:30 AM), you will meet your expert English-speaking guide at the world-famous Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. You will spend roughly 2 hours exploring over 120,000 artifacts, including the golden treasures of King Tutankhamun and masterpieces from the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms.
- Optional Nile Felucca Ride Experience the Nile the traditional way! You can choose to add a relaxing ride on a Felucca (traditional sailboat) to enjoy the river breeze and city views. (Optional: 10 EURO extra).
- Lunch by the Nile Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the Nile River. (Please note: Drinks are not included).
- Giza Pyramids & The Sphinx Discover the Giza Plateau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the three famous pyramids: Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure. We will conclude the tour at the Great Sphinx, the legendary statue with the body of a lion and the face of a human that has guarded the plateau for millennia.
- Shopping Opportunity Before leaving, we stop for approximately 1 hour at the bazaars near the pyramids, where you can shop for perfume, papyrus, and souvenirs. (Guests not interested in shopping are welcome to relax in the air-conditioned bus).
- Return to Sharm El Sheikh We depart Cairo around 6:00 PM. Upon arrival back in Sharm El Sheikh, our representative will ensure you are dropped off comfortably at your hotel.
